DaMarka Wheeler

Gospel and inspirational artist DaMarka Wheeler is a powerhouse singer whose jazz and soul-infused voice enamors crowds across the country. Driven by her testimony of survival, the Buffalo native takes audiences on a musical journey, navigating them through beautiful ballads, groovy mid-tempo melodies, and uplifting anthems. DaMarka became an overnight sensation in 2014 after becoming a Top 10 contestant on Season 7 of BET network’s “Sunday Best” gospel singing competition.

DaMarka has shared the stage with gospel legends like Grammy Award-winning gospel group, The Clark Sisters and Grammy-nominated gospel artists Kim Burrell, Richard Smallwood, and Bishop Paul Morton. Today she continues to travel the country performing. Her single “Oh Taste and See” celebrates new school gospel through a jazzy chorus, that migrates into a churchy refrain that captures the traditional gospel sound.
